Scope and Contents The Conrad Aiken Papers consist entirely of material from his long-standing correspondence with Robert Linscott, an editor with Houghton-Mifflin and later senior editor for Random House. Aiken and Linscott began their long friendship in 1917 and Linscott helped Aiken publish several of his works. Autograph letter, signed from James Lane Allen to Mr. McGee, thanking him for his interest and "data" which Allen intended to use in a story still in progress [The Sword of Youth]. Allen refers to an editorial in Sunday's Times which discussed the story, apparently then appearing in serial form. 3 pages.

The collection includes large composites of members, which are photographs (headshots) of members mounted on a display board. Most of the display boards measure 58 inches by 40 inches. Composite photographs of members range from 1989 –2006, except for the years 1991-1992, 1992-1993, and 2004-2005. The collection also includes memorabilia, including various awards.
